Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess practical and theory-based cookery lessons.
- Teach a variety of cuisines, techniques, and industry-relevant skills.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and nutrition standards.
- Provide constructive feedback and personalised learner support.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve curriculum delivery.
What you’ll bring
- A relevant culinary qualification (Diploma or Degree in Cookery).
- Professional experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Teaching / training qualifications (e.g. Certificate in Adult Education) – desirable but not essential.
- Strong culinary knowledge across techniques, menu planning, and food safety.
- Excellent communication and demonstration skills.
- A passion for mentoring and helping learners reach their potential.
