A community-focused choral organization is seeking a passionate Training and Intermediate Choir Conductor to engage young singers aged 3-9. The successful candidate will conduct rehearsals, assist in selecting repertoire, and prepare choirs for performances. This contract position offers compensation between $8,000 and $10,000 with an estimated commitment of 6-10 hours per week. Candidates encouraged from diverse backgrounds.
Chorus Niagara is seeking a dynamic, passionate, and skilled Training and Intermediate Choir Conductor for Chorus Niagara Children’s Choir (CNCC). The successful candidate will work collaboratively with CNCC’s Principal Conductor to create an engaging learning environment for young singers and should be an experienced conductor/music educator of young children, ages 3-9, who is passionate about helping children to develop a love of music and singing. They will work closely with the Principal Conductor to execute rehearsal plans, and short term and long term objectives and goals for the choirs.
This is a contract position (renewed annually) with compensation between $8,000- $10,000.
Estimated 6-10 hours per week. This is inclusive of weekly Wednesday evening rehearsals, concerts and additional events.
