Job Title: Trade Execution Coordinator

Location: G3 Head Office, Winnipeg (On-Site)

The Trade Execution Coordinator is responsible for the execution of all administrative duties related to Commercial activities, from contract writing, to export documentation preparation, to final invoicing and providing accounting support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately prepare and manage export/import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, certificates of origin, phytosanitary certificates, and customs declarations, demonstrating strong attention to detail and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Create and maintain G3 sales and purchase contracts, including amendments for rail and vessel executions.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to review contracts and document instructions, ensuring all terms, quality specifications, etc. are accurately reflected and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with diverse and cross-functional team to ensure the accurate and timely execution of contracts, presentation of documents and receipt of payments.
  • Actively participating in team discussions, process reviews, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Work with 3rd party fumigators, surveyors and laboratores to schedule inspections and obtain required certificates for export vessels.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Comply with the requirements of G3's Food Safety Quality Management System (FSQMS).
Qualifications & Experience
  • Post-secondary diploma/certificate or bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in trade execution, commercial contract management or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to solve complex problems.
  • Strong understanding of export/import documentation and shipping procedures.
  • Knowledge of grain industry standards, Incoterms and international grain contract terms such as NAEGA, NGFA, and GAFTA.
  • Intermediate knowledge level of Microsoft Excel and common desktop software.
  • Bilingual in English and French would be considered an asset.
