Job summary

A prominent ski resort company is seeking a permanent IT Support Technician, Tier 2, at Sun Peaks Mountain Resort. The successful candidate will handle technical support, user administration, and asset management in a vibrant mountain setting. Qualifications

  • Proven discretion and confidentiality of personal information and administration.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, prioritize and schedule workload using in-house help desk systems.
  • Hardware/software installations.
  • Installation of various network, A/V, and surveillance components.
  • Installation and support of POS and payment systems.
  • Asset management and documentation.
  • Assist with administration of server systems.
  • Lifting of equipment required at times (printers, furniture, servers, etc.).
  • Train new hires in the proper use of hardware and software.

Skills

Completion of accredited IT program
Experience in Service Desk operations and end user support
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Polished interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to ski or snowboard is considered an asset
