Title: Family Therapist (RCC, RSW, RPsych) – Complex & Diverse Family Systems
Location: Courtenay, BC (In-person / Hybrid options)

We’re seeking a skilled, relational clinician to enhance our close-knit, trauma- and neurodiversity-aware team.
Responsibilities
- Guide families through high-conflict dynamics, transitions, and multigenerational complexity with care and clarity
- Provide therapy to complex family systems (diverse configurations, blended families, cultural differences)
- Leverage your advanced training in relational modalities—Structural, Narrative, Bowenian, Emotionally Focused Therapy, or other systemic frameworks
- Conduct thoughtful intakes, safety assessments, and create inclusive treatment plans
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to foster resilience, self-awareness, and relational connection
- Keep clear, respectful documentation and safeguard client confidentiality
- Contribute to an environment of learning, inclusivity, and support—through co-reflection, case consultations, or team workshops
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree + Active registration in good standing as RCC, RSW, or RPsych (BC)
- Advanced, post-graduate training in family therapy (e.g., Bowen, Structural, Narrative, EFT)
- Proven experience with high-conflict or complex family systems, cultural diversity, trauma-informed care
- Warmth, humility, and adaptability—centered in inclusivity and client-led pace
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based, neuro-affirming, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and culturally responsive practice
