A Calgary based theatre company is seeking a Production Manager to ensure the successful execution of live productions. This part-time role focuses on managing budgets, collaborating with teams, and leading technical staff. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in theatrical management, knowledge of budgeting, and the ability to work collaboratively. Opportunities for full-time employment will increase as productions resume.

Qualifications

• Strong budgeting experience in both creation and administration.
• Experience working with unions, especially with IATSE Local 212 or Canadian Actors’ Equity Association is an asset.
• Knowledge of Alberta labour legislation, Workers’ Compensation Board procedures, WHMIS, and Occupational Health & Safety Standards.

• Create budget for productions aligning with the company’s vision.
• Lead technical personnel and manage operations for rentals.
