Job description

Position Summary

The Terminal Operator I's duties are performed under supervision. This position is responsible for cleaning and organizing external areas of the plant. The Terminal Operator I will assist in areas of Environmental, Safety, Health, and Quality.

Position Responsibilities

1. Follow instructions, including standard manufacturing procedures and processes.
2. Support Terminal goals within the area as needed.
3. Crushing/Cubing of used oil filters.
4. Participate in continuous EHS improvement activities.
5. Clean worksite debris and power wash concrete.
6. Organize pallets, totes, drums, etc., into straight, organized rows.
7. Assist in spill containment, water drainage, and debris cleanup.
8. Remove sediment from drainage ditches.
9. Collect and dispose of contained materials properly.
10. Perform general mechanical duties occasionally.
11. Assist with trash movement from plant to compactors and roll-off dumpsters.
12. Drainage of tank farm containment areas.
13. Operate Vac-Truck within the property to clean spilled products.
14. Respond immediately to spills/releases onsite and potentially offsite in emergencies.
15. Perform other assigned tasks and duties.
