A regional school board in Ontario is seeking a Part-time Library Clerk to support elementary school library operations. The clerk will manage circulation tasks, assist staff and students, and maintain library resources. Candidates must have a Secondary School graduation diploma and clerical experience preferably in a library. The position offers 21 hours per week during the school year, effective immediately until June 2026.
Applicants Will Be Considered In The Following Order
Reporting to the Principal, and following the "Best Practices and Guidelines" related to library circulation and collection maintenance as outlined by ITS Library and Resource Services, this position is responsible for performing clerical duties in the elementary school library. The library clerk will play an important role in the school in encouraging the love of reading and providing access to resources for learning, and promoting use of resources in print and digital formats.
This temporary Educational Support Staff position Level C will work 21 hours per week, 10 months per year, effective as soon as possible to June 30, 2026.
