We’re looking for a permanent/full time Technical Trainer, could it be you?

Your future role

As Technical Trainer, you are responsible to support the Integrated Services Readiness team on all their technical training activities.

This role involves creating and delivering training programs through various methods (workshops, online/class courses) covering more specificallyRailway Signaling and Operations.

Extensive exposure to the railway sectoris required as well asflexibility and mobilityto adjust to different training schedules to various sites (QC, ON & US).

While interacting daily with co-workers, external suppliers and management, all activities will be performed in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as prescribed by legislation and the ALSTOM Health & Safety & Environment policies.

You’ll specifically take care of

  • Developing and revise courseware material of high quality, following departmental procedures and initiatives
  • Delivering training in compliance with contractual technical specifications in a timely manner according to the training schedule(s)
  • Supervising and evaluating training delivered by external suppliers
  • Maintaining training documentation and records

We’ll look to you for

  • Analyzing the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and tests to ensure learning objectives are met.
  • Working with departments, management, and clients to ensure training aligns with organizational goals & client’s requirements
  • Your strong teaching, communication, and organizational skills
  • Identifying improvements in training (quality, delivery) and implementing changes
