DuraFast Label Company was founded in 2012 with a simple mission of providing durable, colorfast labels to the growing do-it-yourself label production market. Based in Etobicoke, Ontario, we are a division of Sector Nine Distribution Limited, a distributor of solutions for label printing, thermal and PX printing, and apparel decorating in Canada and the United States.

We manufacture labels and specialize in helping businesses print their own labels in-house. Our customers include everyone from mom-and-pop shops to enterprise organizations in the food, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, transportation and logistics, and chemical industries.

Job Description

DuraFast Label Company maintains the highest level of service and offers several sales channels to meet our customers' needs. We are looking for a technical sales representative to manage technical specifications and requirements on behalf of customers. If you are a positive and enthusiastic individual with good communication and technical skills, we invite you to apply for this position.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have:

  • 2 or more years of experience selling technical products
  • Demonstrated experience developing market strategies for new products in a competitive environment
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales goals while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of the label industry and a technical understanding of printing processes, materials, mechanisms, and equipment
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and CRM software
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, inter-personal communication, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize assignments effectively and work under pressure.

The technical sales representative is responsible for:

  • Researching the market for new product opportunities and developing marketing strategies to ensure that products meet customer requirements.
  • Supporting our customers' needs by researching technical specifications and requirements on behalf of customers.
  • Developing marketing strategies to ensure that products meet customer requirements.
  • Proactively working with customers to ensure that they are satisfied with our products and services.
  • Demonstrating products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Attending trade shows and events (some travel required).
