Title: Technical Navigator(Scrum Master))

The Deposits team delivers secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions that support critical banking services. As a Technical Navigator, you will guide technical direction across multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to influence and collaborate in an Agile environment.

You will act as a trusted advisor to development teams, helping them navigate complex technical challenges, manage dependencies, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance across Deposits initiatives.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and product owners to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, advising on technical feasibility and risk mitigation.
  • Identify and resolve technical dependencies across teams and projects.
  • Mentor and coach teams on best practices, security standards, and performance optimization.
  • Support incident/problem resolution for critical technical issues when escalated.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and technical delivery.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in software development or technical leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with DevOps practices.
  • Working knowledge of retail banking products & services is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Technical certifications in API security or architecture are an asset.
