Job Description

What you\'ll be responsible for :

  • Dealing with daily challenges. Must be able to motivate employees and ensure adherence to organizational goals, policies, and procedures;
  • Coordinating, organizing, and supervisingtheir team in order to carry out the various day-to-day operations within the stores and ensure that planning is followed;
  • Takingthe necessary measures to protect health and safety to prevent work-related accidents;
  • Takingthe necessary measures to protect the environment by ensuring compliance with the regulations and laws in force;
  • Distributingthe work between the different members of his team in order to operate the different stores in an optimal way;
  • Supporting team members in resolving problems encountered;
  • Solvingdaily shipping and receiving problems;
  • Evaluatingthe integrity and quality of incoming and outgoing orders;
  • Communicatingwith purchasing for information regarding the quality of products received and any damages;
  • Ensuringreceipt, storage, and distribution of products, spare parts and components;
  • Maintaining records and reports of receipts, issues, and inventory;
  • Coordinatingcontinuous improvement projects related to stores and inventory;
  • Engagingwith team members in cyclical inventory counts;
  • Maintaining order and cleanliness of stores and work areas.
Qualifications

To join our team :

  • You have a DEC combined with 3 to 5 years of experience as a team leader in the industrial field, warehousing, operations;
  • You must have a vehicle - Ability to move easily from one store to another (Montreal and Laval);
  • You are bilingual : French and English, both oral and written;
  • You have a keen ability to make decisions, coordinate, organize,and supervise a team;
  • You have a keen ability to manage multiple files and deadlines;
  • You have a keen ability to offer excellent customer service;
  • You are computer savvy with a good knowledge of computer tools. Ability to use analytical reports and ability to learn quickly;
  • You have experience in loading / unloading with a forklift (asset).
