Job description

We are looking for a Salesforce Functional Analyst with proven experience in leading small to medium-sized teams. This hybrid role combines hands-on functional analysis — gathering requirements, designing solutions, and managing configurations — with leadership responsibilities to guide and mentor a team of Salesforce professionals.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and administrators to ensure our Salesforce solutions align with business objectives while maintaining best practices and platform scalability.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
  • Analyze current Salesforce environment, identify gaps, and propose solutions aligned with platform capabilities.
  • Work with technical teams to design scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions.
  • Configure Salesforce declarative features (objects, fields, workflows, flows, validation rules, page layouts, etc.).
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and lead the defect resolution process.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and coordinate the work of a team of Salesforce functional analysts and/or admins.
  • Assign tasks, review deliverables, and ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Provide mentoring, training, and guidance to team members.
  • Act as the point of escalation for complex functional issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers to align resources with priorities.
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary functional point of contact for Salesforce projects.
  • Facilitate workshops, sprint reviews, and requirement-gathering sessions.
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Functional Analyst, Consultant, or Business Analyst.
  • At least 1–2 years in a team lead, coordinator, or mentoring role.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other major Salesforce products.
  • Experience creating detailed process documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methods.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Salesforce Administrator and/or Business Analyst Certification.
  • Experience with integration projects and external systems.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or CPQ.
  • Bilingual (English/French) if working in a bilingual environment.
Soft Skills
  • Ability to balance hands-on tasks with leadership responsibilities.
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and expectation management.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and foster collaboration.
