Ready to suit up as a Mobile Tactical Security Guard

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Your strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and communication skills are essential in this role.

This position is Daysshift only (0700-1900)and includes a mix of mobile patrols and static security duties with some assignments requiring sitting/standing for extended periods of time.

Static position located in Toronto, ON M4K 2N6

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

Conduct regular roving foot patrols throughout the park

Complete required checkpoints every 30 minutes to 1 hour using the site phone

Monitor for encampments and report findings to the City

Observe and report any safety concerns, suspicious activity, or by-law issues

Work closely with City staff to support park operations

Ensure park areas remain clear of unauthorized or unwanted persons

Enforce the Trespass to Property Act when required

Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies

Complete detailed incident reports and documentation

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Valid G2 or G Driver’s Licensewith aclean driver’s abstract(required)
• First Aid & CPR certification (required)
• Ability to work Days shift only (0700-1900hrs)
• Ability to sit for extended periods and patrol by foot and vehicle
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must successfully complete Handcuff and Baton training
• Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills
