The City of Woodstock is looking for an Aquatics Instructor to assist in delivering swim lessons under Lifesaving Society programs. The ideal candidate should be certified in Lifesaving Assistant Water Safety Instructor, hold current lifeguarding qualifications, and have strong communication skills. Qualifications

• Current qualifications must be maintained (within two years of certification).
• Experience in evaluating swim lesson candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the instruction of Lifesaving Society Swim programs for all ages.
• Help set up pool areas and clean up after lessons.
• Evaluate swim lesson candidates and address parent concerns.

Education

Lifesaving Assistant Water Safety Instructor Certificate

Bronze Cross Certificate or National Lifeguard

Standard First Aid and CPR-C
