We are a ‘2.0’ solution in the ‘1.0’ world of climate risk management and are the only firm that provides a completely stochastic view of climate change and its financial impacts.


The firm is led by Dr. Ron Dembo, who previously founded and served as CEO of Algorithmics, Inc. He has taken his patented multi-factor stress testing method and combined it with a team of cutting-edge data scientists, climate scientists, and financial engineering experts to create the world’s largest data platform for managing the financial risks arising from climate change.


We are looking to expand our revenue footprint in the UK market, and have an immediate opening for the following role.


SVP & Head of Sales, UK


We are looking to hire a senior member of our sales team to develop the company’s revenue base in the UK market. This position will play a critical role in supporting the company’s international expansion efforts by targeting large financial institutions and corporate multi-nationals for commercial engagement.


As climate risk analytics is a new and emerging field of commercial endeavor, the ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a rapidly moving market and in unstructured situations. The ideal candidate will also be capable of handling the full range of business development and sales activities, from initial outreach to discovery, to platform demonstrations, to negotiations leading to sales closure.


Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have recently demonstrated experience selling large, technically complex data and information services sales to the financial sector and large-scale corporates. Interest in the climate field is a bonus but not required.


Responsibilities


  • Developing a detailed understanding of the company’s offerings, business model, data platform and methodology, and value proposition into appropriate market verticals.

  • Developing a detailed understanding of the market for climate financial risk solutions, core data, and methodological problems solved via the company’s offerings, as well as current and emerging competitive alternatives to the Company’s capabilities.

  • Developing a detailed understanding of the company’s current revenue base and clientele, emerging partnerships, and other market-collaboration opportunities, current and anticipated pipeline of commercial opportunities and prospective clientele, and potential “whitespace” that can provide further opportunities for revenue capture or expansion.

  • Creating, in collaboration with Company leadership, sales, and marketing collateral that conveys the Company’s value proposition, business model, and other salient points to current and prospective clients.

  • Leading and directly supporting the full range of go-to-market activities surrounding the Company’s commercial expansion efforts, including but not limited to, creating market interest for the Company’s offerings, conducting demonstrations of those offerings, scoping and negotiating emerging commercial deals, and any other items required for successful deal closure.
