Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • A completion or near-completion of a post-graduate program such as CFA, MBA, Master in Finance, or similar is an asset.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services, with a preference for experience in portfolio valuation, performance reporting, risk, and/or middle office operations.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments such as fixed income, OTC derivatives, bank debts, and private equity is preferred.
  • Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

The Supervisor in the Global VPL group is responsible for assisting the Manager in supervising the day-to-day activities of a team of analysts. The Supervisor will review the work performed by analysts to ensure that procedures are followed, service level agreements are met, and deliverables are of high quality and accuracy. Your role is key in maintaining high standards through staff training, development, and attention to detail.

  • Supervise a team of analysts and review their daily deliverables, including:
  • Security pricing,
  • Performance (P&L) reporting,
  • Independent price verification (IPV),
  • Other ad-hoc client or management requests.

Ensure timely completion of client deliverables, compliance with policies and procedures, and handle client requests and queries competently. Collaborate with other departments such as Fund Accounting, Reconciliations, Client Integration, Market Data, and Application Support. Other relevant tasks may be assigned as needed.
