Essential Functions

  • Supervise and train Inside Support Representatives (ISRs) including answering questions, solving problems, monitoring telephone calls, sales metrics reporting, relating information and assigning projects.

  • Monitors the representatives order management process and territory management.

  • Facilitates departmental meetings and scheduling for the team.

  • Serves as liaison between District Sales Managers, procurement, warehouse, transportation and District Sales Representatives

  • Designs, implements and monitors new and existing system processes to improve the effectiveness of GFS’ service to the Inside Support team.

  • Tracks and submits opportunities for improvement

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills as well as problem-solving capabilities. Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment. Must have good customer service, leadership and time management skills.

  • Knowledge of spreadsheet, presentation, email, and internet applications with 10-key data entry experience. Knowledge of Gordon Food Service portal applications helpful.

  • Previous Experience in the area of food service industry
