The Jansen project in Saskatchewan, Canada is set to become one of the largest potash mines in the world and is located approximately 140 kilometres east of Saskatoon. As the largest investment in Saskatchewan’s history, Jansen is expected to generate approximately 5,500 workforce opportunities during construction and 900 long-term roles.
Once fully ramped up, Jansen is expected to have an initial production capacity of approximately 8.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), with the potential to produce 16 to 17 Mtpa in future stages. To find out more about Potash and the Jansen project, click here.

This role will be based at the Jansen Mine Site located in Leroy, SK. The work schedule for this role is 7x7 (rotating days and nights).
For those not living locally, BHP provides relocation assistance to the local Jansen area. Alternatively, you can enjoy the convenience and comfort of our onsite camp accommodation at Discovery Lodge during your shifts.
BHP offers domestic relocation assistance to support the successful incumbent in transitioning, if required. Benefits offered as part of the relocation program include (but are not limited to) new home purchase assistance, temporary accommodations, home finding trip and a resettlement allowance.
Reporting to the Superintendent Electrical & Instrumentation, this role provides leadership to a team or teams focused on the management and delivery of maintenance execution activities (executing planned and unplanned maintenance activities within the hoisting, shafts, and underground mining environment).
