A mining company is seeking an Indigenous student for a Student, Indigenous and Community Relations role based in Bethune, Saskatchewan. This 4-month internship starts in May 2026 and involves assisting with community engagement initiatives and building relationships with local and Indigenous communities. Ideal candidates will be enrolled in a related program and possess strong communication and organizational skills. A Class 5 driver's license is required, and travel within Saskatchewan may be necessary.
Reporting to the Manager, Indigenous Relations, the Student, Indigenous and Community Relations will use their skills, creativity and knowledge in a rewarding and exciting work environment while gaining valuable work experience. You will help K+S Potash Canada (KSPC) continue to build and sustain positive, long-term relationships with local and Indigenous communities and organizations.
This position will support the work of KPSC’s Indigenous and Community Relations team through various approaches including community investment, collaboration with other KSPC departments in relation to recruitment initiatives and procurement practices, as well as community engagement initiatives and events.
This position may also support initiatives by the broader Corporate Affairs Department as needed.

This position is a 4-month term starting May 2026 based at the Bethune Mine Site. Flexible work arrangements may be considered.
This position utilizes a 4/10 schedule, and may require occasional overtime.
Employment is subject to successfully completing KSPC’s pre-employment checks which may include criminal record check, educational verification and references, and drug and alcohol testing.
