A leading tech company in Toronto is seeking a Strategic Partner Lead to manage partnerships and drive business growth in the Video vertical. This role requires effective relationship management with industry executives and the ability to innovate solutions. Ideally, candidates will have over 7 years of experience in strategy and business development, proficient in data analytics and well-versed in the digital media landscape. The position offers a dynamic environment focused on partnerships, collaboration, and impact.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
As a Strategic Partner Lead, you will be responsible for managing a book of business within our Video vertical. You will lead the relationship with some of Canada’s largest Broadcasters leveraging the best of Google’s products and platforms to grow their digital media business. We are looking for curious and investigative minds that can solve complex problems and develop close working relationships with key partners. Our clients' business is constantly evolving, so our products and approach need to change with them. You will be joining a team that aims to challenge and push boundaries on behalf of our partners.
In this role, you will serve as expert consultants and trusted advisors to our partners. You will have experience in media, digital publishing, video and advertising technology as well as an understanding of Google’s product offering will allow you to identify new opportunities to fuel digital growth for our partners. You will work cross-functionally to drive a holistic 'One Google' approach to your partners’ businesses and build strong relationships with C-level representatives to empower partners to manage digital transformation.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. Google’s Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
