Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a communications role with a focus on media relations or issues management.
  • Experience developing communication plans, writing materials, preparing presentations, and event planning.
  • Professional accreditation from CPRS or IABC is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate annual membership tour ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Support onboarding process of the President-Elect with required materials.
  • Draft documents for speaking engagements and presentations.
  • Execute communication plans aligned with the OMA’s strategic objectives.
  • Handle correspondence for the President through established processes.
