A healthcare organization in Canada is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Cardiology. Candidates should possess a nursing qualification recognized by the Singapore Nursing Board and have 1-2 years of acute hospital experience. Successful applicants must commit to a minimum of 2 days of work per week and fulfill vaccination requirements for employment.
You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the total nursing care for an assigned group of patients, as well as perform a wide variety of nursing procedures and patient education that meet patients’ needs. You will have opportunities to work in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Cardiology inpatient wards. You will need to commit to working at least 2 days or their equivalent hours per week and perform shift work. The work schedule will be discussed and planned accordingly with successful applicants based on mutual agreement.
Registered Nurse or Nursing qualification recognised by the Singapore Nursing Board with at least 1-2 years’ nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
Documented proof of:
i. Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and
ii. Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during preceding 10 years at prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act with effect from 3 January 2022. Applicants without these vaccinations are welcome to apply if they undertake to complete the vaccination(s) before work commencement upon successful interview and are offered employment
