Overview

Senior Trade Compliance Specialist at SEKISUI Diagnostics. Lead and manage global import / export compliance processes for U.S. and Canadian shipments. Serve as subject matter expert in customs regulations, HTS / ECCN classifications, and country-of-origin determinations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage global import / export compliance processes for U.S. and Canadian shipments, ensuring adherence to trade laws and regulations.
  • Serve as SME in customs regulations, HTS / ECCN classifications, and country-of-origin determinations.
  • Support internal audits, broker oversight, and regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, product development, and logistics to integrate compliance across the product and order lifecycle.
  • Maintain and improve recordkeeping systems; facilitate Free Trade Agreement documentation; monitor regulatory changes impacting SEKISUI\'s trade obligations.
Qualifications
  • Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and deep understanding of U.S. and Canadian trade regulations.
  • Ability to work independently on complex issues, interpret trade laws, and implement scalable compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with trade automation tools; certifications such as CCS, CES, or CTCS are assets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or related field; 5–8 years of global trade compliance or customs operations experience.
  • U.S. Customs Broker License preferred but not required.

The anticipated base salary range is $106,000 - $118,000 per year. This role may be eligible for annual incentives and comprehensive benefits. Base salary depends on qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and location.
