Overview

Fortinet is actively seeking a Technical Product Manager with a focus on Fortinet SecOps solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in SIEM / SOAR and XDR technology and associated products and a deep understanding of Engineering development cycles, and the ability to engage with technical customers & field sales. As a member of the PM team, the successful candidate will actively engage with System leaders to validate customer requests and prioritize effectively to drive business growth. Additionally, the PM will be an active member of the R&D team, defining functional specifications, breaking down feature requests, managing timelines & deliverables, and bringing new features / products to market. Experience in customer and field-facing technical roles is a strong plus.

Responsibilities
  • Distill customer business problems from internal and external stakeholder needs analysis and feedback.
  • Work closely with field teams to define and prioritize development activities to ensure product requirements are captured and execution matches expectations.
  • Generate a Product Roadmap and communicate as necessary, including both internal and external product evangelism. Work collaboratively with Sales and Engineering to prioritize development.
  • Create regular reports to capture priorities from technical, commercial and support arenas to ensure effective allocation of resources and provide the necessary focus on current challenges.
  • Provide support to field teams in customer engagements including technology overview, product details, product demos and technical expertise in order to drive product revenue.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and recommend solutions to extend product functionality.
  • Write internal and public-facing technical documentation.
Skills and Experience
  • Required :
  • 3+ years experience working in product management, with an SIEM / SOAR / XDR Vendor OR several years experience in a Systems Engineering or TAC role with subject matter expertise for SOC technology.
  • Attention to detail and ability to coordinate with multiple teams across the organization
  • Strong technical and market familiarity with deception SIEM / SOAR / XDR technologies, the competitive landscape and the market direction.
  • Understanding of a broad range of enterprise SOC use cases.
  • Hands-on experience in deployment and integration of SIEM / SOAR / XDR technologies into the customer environment.
  • Experience with detailed competitive analysis, product pricing and estimation.
  • Understanding of general product planning discipline, with cross-collaboration experience with development engineering, field sales and direct customer engagement.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • Deep technical understanding of the Security Operations market to steer development and drive product revenue growth.
  • Team player with exceptional communication skills, strong management and interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $145,000 - $200,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
