About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Implementation Specialist to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you’ll support US public sector organizations in the configuration and adoption of ClearGov’s Budgeting & Planning Suite. You’ll leverage your public sector finance knowledge, problem-solving ability, and project coordination skills to help our customers realize measurable impact from our solutions.

The Sr. Implementation Specialist will be a key player on an incredible team as we execute our mission to help local governments and school districts take the next step from good to great.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation of Budgeting & Planning software for mid-size to large government agencies.
  • Collaborate with finance directors, budget managers, and other stakeholders to understand their budgeting workflows and assist in configuring software solutions that meet their needs.
  • Coordinate project activities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects stay on track and within scope.
  • Participate in discovery sessions, working groups, and solution design workshops to translate business needs into effective system configurations.
  • Provide training, documentation, and day-to-day guidance to users to encourage adoption and long-term success.
  • Work closely with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to share feedback, resolve issues, and support continuous product improvements.
Critical Skills/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Communication, speech fluency, and meeting handling skills

  • Collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Enterprise project coordination skills
  • Understanding of public sector financial processes and financial reporting (ACFR)
  • Project timeline and deliverables management
  • Data Analysis and Data Reporting
