A leading engineering organization in Canada seeks a Mine Engineer to lead long-term underground mine planning. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in relevant engineering and a P. Eng designation, with at least 7 years of experience, strong communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Reporting to the Chief Mine Engineer, you will lead the development of long-term underground mine plans and schedules, with a strong focus on development and production strategies. You will play a key role in supporting technical studies and projects, ensuring alignment with site objectives and operational readiness. Success in this role will require effective communication and coordination with site leadership and cross-functional teams, as well as oversight of the transition from long-term plans to short-term execution. Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering
Minimum of seven years of mine engineering experience with at least four years in mine planning, preferably in an underground mining environment
Professional Engineer (P. Eng) designation required and must be in good standing with the applicable provincial engineering association
Eligibility for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
Strong experience in mine design, preferably with Deswik
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site via aircraft
