Qualifications

  • Completion of the 12th school grade and up to two years in pool/park maintenance.
  • Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions in pool maintenance work.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence for British Columbia.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain washrooms and water parks.
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs and install washroom dispensers.
  • Test water chemistry and keep accurate records.
  • Operate city vehicles safely.

Knowledge of safety precautions
Ability to exercise independent judgement
Tact and courtesy in public interactions
Ability to recognize and respond to maintenance needs
Pass a Police Information Check

Education

Completion of 12th grade
Water Chemistry Level 1 or pool smart course
