Job Description

Reports to and collaborates with the Director, Marketing & Communications, to deliver brand‑consistent internal and external events that advance business priorities and deepen employee and customer engagement.

Level of Responsibility

Enhanced task complexity and accountability to customer. Enhanced autonomy in role, contributing significantly to team/organizational projects. Accountable for accuracy and efficiency in assigned tasks. Starting to mentor junior staff.

Key Tasks
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Commercial, People) to plan and execute internal and external events that reinforce key business priorities and strengthen employee engagement.
  • Maintain an annual events calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, sponsorship commitments, and key internal events.
  • Execute MSC Canada planned campaign events, signature customer events, and provides support for additional major events and hospitality programs.
  • Plan and deliver internal events such as the holiday party and the summer staff BBQs.
  • Coordinate sponsorship deliverables, including asset alignment to brand standards and logistics for activations, working closely with Geneva on briefs and execution.
  • Manage event logistics end-to-end, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgets, and on‑site execution where required, ensuring all details meet brand and quality standards.
  • Oversee post‑event follow‑up, including ROI reporting, stakeholder feedback, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain event documentation, templates, and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across all programs.
  • Additional responsibilities may be added or modified to meet changing business requirements.
Qualifications
