Job summary

A national broadcaster in Moncton, New Brunswick, is seeking a speaker/close captioner to use voice recognition software and provide live closed captions. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, three years of relevant experience, and fluency in French. The role is part-time and includes working under pressure while managing priorities. Your role

As a speaker/close captioner you will be using voice recognition software, closed‑caption live programs for the deaf and hearing impaired. You will also have to transcribe and broadcast the content of program as closed captions for the deaf and hearing impaired in keeping in accordance with Corporation standards and policies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years' relevant experience including two (2) as a Closed Captioner.
