We partner with the Government of Nova Scotia to offer the Access Wellness program, providing single-session mental health support to Nova Scotia residents aged 18 and above at no cost.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will provide single-session counselling to the adult population of Nova Scotia through the Access Wellness program. Services will be provided in-person at a TELUS Health office, online via video call, or by telephone.

What you bring
  • Master’s Degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Counselling Psychology (mandatory)
  • Membership with Nova Scotia College of Social Workers or Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (mandatory)
  • Minimum of three years of post-Master's clinical experience
  • Strong assessment skills and ability to work within a single-session model
  • Solution-focused approach and ability to set short-term objectives
  • Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases
  • Ability to articulate and provide resources and support after the consultation
