About Circle Wellness

Circle Wellness is redefining wellness experiences through immersive, high‑end spa environments rooted in intentional design and holistic well‑being. Founded by Paul Hennessey, our spas draw inspiration from open‑concept Korean spas, meditation practices, as well as the wellness traditions of Japan and Northern Europe. Paul’s business partner and Circle Wellness CEO, Scott Emslie, has built a number of event and hospitality businesses and is an expert in driving strategic growth and creating impactful guest and employee experiences. Our flagship Vancouver location pioneered private wellness circuits that integrate hydrotherapy, sensory deprivation, and specialized materials. Circle Wellness is now preparing to open its first U.S. location in Fremont, Seattle.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Social Marketing Specialist will own how Circle Wellness shows up across our social channels. This role will be responsible for creating and curating content with a clear point of view that is on brand and resonates with our audience, growing and engaging with our community, and ensuring our brand voice is clear and consistent every day.

This is a full‑time, in‑office position at our Granville Island office.

Responsibilities

Content Creation (all locations):

  • Create, edit, and curate content including short videos, graphics, and copy that inspire or educate our audience.
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist to identify high‑performing organic content to repurpose for paid as well as to develop paid‑first content informed by campaign performance.
  • Support with general marketing content creation as needed such as newsletters and brand assets.

Social Media Management (all locations):

  • Lead monthly social content strategy to support business and spa needs.
  • Plan, schedule, and post content to maintain a consistent and engaging social presence.
  • End‑to‑end engagement: inbound management (responding to comments and DMs in a timely, brand‑aligned manner) and outbound engagement (proactively interacting with relevant accounts and conversations to expand reach and build connection with our target audience).

Vancouver Partnerships:

  • Build and maintain a collective of values‑aligned brand partnerships across wellness, hospitality, lifestyle, fitness, and arts.
  • Develop corporate partnership initiatives that drive awareness, credibility, and bookings.
  • Build relationships with local founders, creators, and community leaders.
  • Support with high‑impact charitable partnerships.

Vancouver Ambassadors:

  • Identify and recruit all local ambassadors.
  • Facilitate bi‑monthly meetings with local ambassador group as well as any other designated communication touchpoints.
  • Assess ambassador performance and impact in collaboration with the Director of Marketing.
Requirements
  • 3‑5 years of experience in content creation and social media
  • Experience shooting and editing polished video content
  • Experience in graphic design
  • Strong creative judgment and the ability to explain why something works
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally as well as autonomously
Beneficial but not required
  • Experience with paid social
