Summary

We’re looking for a Savvy, Social Media & Content Specialist who thrives in the online space and understands what performs on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. This role is ideal for an emerging creator or micro-influencer who wants hands‑on experience building a brand’s social presence while bringing their own creative perspective. In this role, you’ll support the planning and execution of organic social content across our portfolio of brands, helping to deepen engagement, drive reach, and build connection with our consumers.

Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the Social Media & Content Specialist will play a key role in developing channel strategies, managing content calendars, and supporting community engagement. You’ll partner closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure every post, story, and comment ladder up to our broader brand and business goals.

Primary Responsibilities
Social Content Strategy & Planning
  • Support the development and execution of organic social strategies across brand channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Manage day‑to‑day content calendars, ensuring timely, relevant, and brand‑aligned storytelling.
  • Track basic engagement metrics and share insights on what’s working
  • Use insights to inform content planning and optimize future content mix.
Social Content Development
  • Create and post short‑form content (Ex - Reels, TikToks, Stories)
  • Write captions that feel authentic, engaging, and on‑trend
  • Assist with managing daily social media activity, engaging with followers in a way that builds brand trust and loyalty — responding to questions, comments, and brand mentions with a consistent voice and tone.
  • Stay on top of platform trends, cultural moments, and emerging formats to help keep our brands relevant and engaging.
Required Experience
  • Experience as a micro‑influencer or content creator (Portfolio examples welcomed)
  • Photo/video editing skills (CapCut, InShot, Canva, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Creative thinker with excellent writing skills and an eye for visual storytelling.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple brand calendars and priorities.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to work cross‑functionally with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Role requires 3 days per week on‑site.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is an asset.
  • Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Later, or similar) is an asset.
