This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Key leadership role to uphold hospitality excellence and standards at this iconic attraction in the Canadian Rockies.
  • Lead, support and encourage the Interpretive Guides and Team Leads, ensuring that each member of the Skywalk team provides an interactive and professional guest experience, aiming above and beyond our guests’ expectations.
  • The daily running, opening and closing of the Skywalk operation in addition to training, scheduling, guest flow, tour organization, team motivation, recognition, and performance management duties – all with the best office view you could ask for!
  • Ensure a memorable and positive experience for all, implementing and delivering the standard operating policies and procedures and dealing with guest escalations as required.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety and maintenance at the Skywalk.
  • Team communication including leading team briefings, sharing management updates and fostering two‑way communication for team culture and respect.
  • Continuous improvement – providing feedback and proactively implementing ideas for improvements for guests, staff and operational processes.
  • Have a great knowledge of our Interpretive programme to provide support to the Interpretive Guides and answer guest questions.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and answering guest reviews in a professional manner.
  • Assist Skywalk Manager with additional tasks in a timely and detailed manner and other duties as assigned by your employer.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A passion for making a difference for each guest and employee is the most important aspect of this position!
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in hospitality, tourism, guiding or outdoor setting.
  • Seeking someone mature, energetic, proactive and dependable to lead the Skywalk team.
  • Organization, administrative and time management skills are required.
  • Strong communication (including radio communications), conflict‑resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • Guest service‑oriented mindset and a passion for coaching and developing a team.
  • Ability to think on the fly and outside the box to solve problems with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to thrive, make decisions and lead independently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in a predominantly outdoor environment. Be prepared to work in ALL weather conditions (snow, rain, wind, hail, sun).
  • Experience guiding an asset.
  • Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote environment and being a steward of this special area.
  • Must meet Pursuit grooming and appearance standards.
  • Class 5 Canadian driver’s license (with clean abstract) required.
  • Multi‑lingual skills are an asset but not required
  • Standard First‑Aid or higher is an asset but not required

The starting wage for this role is $21.00/hour.
