Site Project Administrator (Construction) – Contract

Contract Term: Ending December 2026

Maple Reinders Constructors is currently searching for a talented Site Project Administrator to join our team in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on Makwa Waakaa'igan Centre of Excellence in Reconciliation and Healing at Algoma University.

This site-based position will support the project team with a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Learning of project administration files and orderly management
  • Preparation of meeting minutes for review and approval by project manage and project coordinator.
  • Assist with sub-tradeson compliance items that are out of date.
  • Assist with tendering and procurement tasks that are in thecue.
  • Assist with submittal'sand RFI's as directed by project manager and project coordinator.
  • Print and distribute site instructions, update drawings.
  • Stockpiling trailers with necessary supplies (stationaries, coffee/tea, paper, toner, first aid supplies).
  • Greeting visitors to site and ensure they are signed in and oriented to site procedures including ‘in and out’ sheets, first aid and training video.
  • Physical point of contact on-site for deliveries and pick-ups.
  • Assist with document control (distribution of drawings and specifications).
  • Assist with project close out documentation collection and filing
  • Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in tracking issues, changes in condition, requests for information and change orders.
  • Assist with the management of and track our QA / QC program.
  • Assist the superintendent with the execution of their duties.

This role will require:

  • Minimum Grade 12 education.
  • Construction knowledge/experience is an asset.
  • Proficient MS Office and Windows-based computer applications skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license.
