Overview

Site Manufacturing Maintenance Technician in a Just-In-Time / Just-in-Sequence production environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, planned and emergency maintenance in our Just-In-Time / Just-in-Sequence production environment.
• Respond to line calls, troubleshoot and repair equipment to support the JIT production.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install new plant equipment as required.
• Fabricate fixtures, workstations etc. as required.
• Modify equipment to support safety needs, quality needs or efficiency needs.
• Keep accurate records of work performed.
• Repair damaged or broken equipment and tooling.
• Troubleshoot and program PLCs.
• Perform facility related maintenance in general carpentry, plumbing, painting and electrical.
• Perform all duties in a safe (Lock Out) and environmental manner.
• Ensure conformance to all company and legislative policies and procedures and Rules of Conduct.
• Provide supporting duties as assigned.
• WCM – Duties as assigned.
• Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for safety related matters requiring immediate repair.
• Ensuring compliance to and participate in IATF 16949 and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance & ISO 14001 certification.
• Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor for quality related nonconforming matters requiring immediate repair.
