Position Purpose

Under direction, loads and unloads trucks. Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments.

Key Job Activities
  • Comparing and identifying information and counts, weights, or measures of incoming items
  • Shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Prepare items for shipment (scan label, place on skid, and identify the containers). Move shipments in the transportation unit with a forklift.
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments; rejects damaged items; records shortages, and corresponds with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
  • Routes items to appropriate departments when applicable.
  • Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Maintains the integrity of all documentation and properly records the information according to departmental procedures.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Experience (North America & LATAM)
  • High School diploma preferred
  • One or more years of experience in a manufacturing or processing environment, demonstrating good organizational and attention to detail skills, preferred
  • Ability to work with a computer database
  • Ability and experience driving a forklift.
  • Available to work on an evening schedule: Tuesday to Friday, 3:00 to 11:30 pm, and Saturday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
  • Work location: 1575 Drew Rd
