Overview

Title: Shear Machine Operator with Forklift

Location: Brampton, ON

Wage: $23.00 - 25.00/hr.

Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm

Shifts available: Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
  • Operate machine to shear metal structural shapes
  • Read drawings with attention to detail
  • May also require cutting or strip metals according to length and orders using power tools
  • Safely operate Electric counterbalance forklift when required
  • Load and unload raw sheet metal and/or finished goods
  • Assist in other departments as required
Qualifications
  • Ability to read blueprints and use calipers
  • Valid Forklift certification
  • Minimum 1 year previous experience in a similar role
  • Open to learning new shear machine skills
  • Work independently or as a team
