The role

Job Summary

An ServiceNow Associate Technical Consultant is an entry-level to mid-level role focused on implementing, configuring, and supporting clients' use of the ServiceNow platform. Key responsibilities include analyzing technical requirements, designing and building solutions, creating documentation, performing testing, and providing technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Development of ServiceNow system enhancements and process improvements
  • Building/coding solutions in the ServiceNow platform to address customer needs
  • Maintaining existing applications and implementing additional applications
  • Being intimately familiar with Client Scripts, Business Rules, Data Policies, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and UI Pages
  • Upgrading the ServiceNow Platform on a regular basis
  • Administers the ServiceNow platform and interfacing applications including maintenance and technical support
  • Work closely with ServiceNow functional teams to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes from the customer to the fulfillment teams
  • Collaborate with the ServiceNow functional team to configure and improve the core system
  • Manage Database structure
  • Create complex workflow activities including approvals and orchestration
  • Configure system events, alerts, and notifications
  • Run reports, configure service level agreements (SLAs) and perform instance branding and customization
  • Import and Transform data into the appropriate tables in ServiceNow
  • Maintain system performance integrity
Success Criteria
  • Timely and error-free delivery of enhancements aligned with customer requirements and platform best practices.
  • Reduction in recurring issues and high satisfaction scores from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Positive feedback on clarity and usefulness of documentation; successful enablement of client teams post-deployment.
  • Achieve the chargeability goal established by management.
  • Active CSA certification and progress toward additional certifications relevant to assigned modules (e.g., ITSM, ITAM). Participation in delta exams and credential maintenance activities as outlined by the ServiceNow Certification Maintain Program.
