Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Winnipeg is seeking an experienced candidate to develop and sell service estimates, manage work orders, and enhance customer service. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in automotive services and strong supervisory skills. This role may require a flexible working schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 1-year related experience in the automotive service business preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Overview

At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present estimates, source parts and sell jobs to customers
• Interpret inspection results (working with Technician) and present results to customers
• Oversee the processes of work order preparation and scheduling
• Respond to customer service concerns and problems
• Act in a store management capacity as needed on day-to-day operational activities
• Enhance the effectiveness of Human Resources and quality of service through providing training to service providers
• Monitors and control facility and asset utilization
• Enforce compliance with environmental and safety regulations and statutes

Qualifications

• At least 1-year related experience in the automotive service business preffered
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Supervisory and management skills
• Service diagnosis and technical skills an asset
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
