Overview

Service Coordinator

Reporting Relationship: This position reports directly to the Service Manager.

The Service Coordinator plays an integral role in achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction during the service process. The Service Coordinator is often the first person a service customer meets when bringing their vehicle to the service department. A focus of this role is to grow into other roles within the store. The ideal candidate has excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills and is truly customer focused. The Service Coordinator works closely with the service team to ensure the customer is attended to quickly. They are also responsible for managing the flow of vehicles being dropped off and ensuring the parking area is orderly. Other duties include valet pick up and deliveries and maintaining the drive-thru.

Responsibilities

• Be the initial point of contact for customers bringing vehicles in for service to ensure a positive experience.
• Coordinate the flow of vehicles dropped off, manage the parking area, and support a smooth service process.
• Assist with valet pickup/delivery and maintain drive-thru operations.

Qualifications

• Focus on customer needs, an understanding of customer service principles, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Automotive industry experience is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to nurture collaborative working relationships with team members within the dealership
• Exceptional communication skills (in person, on the phone, by email, written)
• Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office, Excel, and other applications
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and own transportation to and from work are required
