Our Connected Home Hardware team researches, ideates, designs, develops, and manages consumer technologies to make our customers' interaction with TELUS services faster, seamless, and more reliable. Whether finding new ways to connect consumer devices, advancing product form factors, or improving machine-to-human interactions, our team focuses on improving our customers' lives by making technology simpler and friendlier.
We work closely with our engineers, marketing teams, industrial designers, and manufacturing partners to manage products from conception to launch and retirement. We support Optik TV, internet access hardware, Boost Wi-Fi, SmartHome, and more.
What you’ll do
As a Staff Technical Product Manager - Home Security Hardware (L5 Product) in the TELUS Connected Home Hardware Team, you will manage our portfolio of home security hardware, with a focus on the control panels and accompanying devices that support our SmartHome service. You will assess and evaluate TELUS’ current and future control panel roadmap. To achieve this, you will manage the end-to-end product lifecycle for your product portfolio, working with ODM/OEM partners to define, develop and launch the products, and managing them post-launch until their end of life. You will define the overall strategy, product roadmap, and technical/feature specifications for our products based on long-term product vision, user needs, technical and market trends, and platform capabilities.
