Overview:

Join Coinbase’s Risk engineering team, which focuses on managing financial threats by building scalable, high-throughput, low-latency risk detection and fraud mitigation platforms. You will architect and develop core risk services that protect both the business and users at massive scale.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement next-generation risk platform architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Coinbase
• Shape strategy and execution for risk platform initiatives
• Lead and manage project priorities and deliverables
• Mentor and train engineers on design and coding best practices
• Write high-quality, well-tested production code

Qualifications:

• 12+ years in backend software engineering (Golang or similar)
• Proven success delivering impactful risk-related solutions
• Experience architecting distributed systems handling large scale data
