As a multi-disciplinary practice, they offer specialized value-added business solutions, as well as an in-house law firm.

They are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant in their Compilation Division, who is a qualified CPA and experienced in Canadian Public Accounting, to join their growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Independently prepare personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Assist and independently prepare corporate and personal tax planning (e.g., dividend vs. salary calculations).
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Canadian taxation.
  • Manage client files in a paperless environment.
  • Research tax issues independently and collaborate with the team to determine solutions, including correspondence with CRA.
  • Work directly with clients independently.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively and monitor deadlines.
  • Identify value-added services during engagements.
