A technology solutions provider in Toronto is seeking a seasoned Developer for a ServiceNow Transformation project. This hybrid role requires strong skills in ServiceNow solutions, including configuration and scripting, with over a decade of experience preferred. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and have hands-on experience with the APM concepts. You'll work on a highly visible project with opportunities for skill enhancement and possible contract extension.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a developer/analyst/solution designer.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) Foundations.
  • 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform.
  • Experience with APM concepts, including application rationalization.

Business group: GTEP - Service Management Technology

Project: ServiceNow Transformation project

The main function of a Developer (Other Specialty) is to design, develop, and implement applications using in-demand languages and technologies for the ServiceNow Platform. These positions are required as part of the ServiceNow Transformation project to migrate APM from the legacy instance.

Typical Day in Role
  • Experience in Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions for IRM Processes.
  • Customize and configure ServiceNow IRM module to meet business requirements.
  • Set up and manage integrations between ServiceNow IRM and other internal/external systems using various methods (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server).
  • Lead the development, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow IRM module, including Policy and Compliance Management.
  • Design and build IRM workflows, scoring methodologies, entity scoping, and Risk Assessment Methodologies (RAM).
  • Implement best practices for testing and quality assurance to ensure that all solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
  • Stay updated on ServiceNow releases and IRM trends, advocating for continuous improvement and innovation within the platform.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with the implementation and operation of the IRM solutions.
  • Ensure that all IRM solutions comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
  • Develop and manage script objects like Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and Flows/Workflows.

  1. 10+ years of experience as a developer/analyst/solution designer
  2. 5+ years of experience working with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) Foundations
  3. 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform with proficiency in ServiceNow configuration, scripting, and workflow development
  4. 5+ years of experience with APM concepts, including application rationalization and lifecycle management.
