Overview

The Right Time Group of Companies is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of SEO to elevate Right Time's online visibility and ranking. The Director of SEO will join our internal Marketing Team and support high-paced growth as a leading provider of home comfort services across Canada. Right Time's leadership team has deep expertise and a great track record in our space and believes that strong marketing is the key to meeting our growth targets.

This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid remote position. The role offers the opportunity to build the foundation of our SEO strategy while joining one of the most profitable, fastest-growing HVAC and home services companies in Canada.

Responsibilities
  • Own SEO Strategy & Execution - Lead SEO campaigns for all Right Time website brands.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and rankings for our HVAC and plumbing services.
  • Optimize for AI: Align SEO strategies with broader marketing and business goals, including AI-driven search optimization to adapt to evolving search behaviours.
  • Complete SEO deliverables, including keyword research, keyword mapping, content optimization, and blog / landing page creation.
  • Conduct on-page optimization, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and content optimization, to improve search engine rankings.
  • Conduct competitive analysis, analyzing keyword gaps, backlink profiles and content strategies and stay ahead in the highly competitive home services landscape in Canada.
  • Monitor and optimize website performance, including site speed, crawlability, and mobile-friendliness, to improve user experience and search engine rankings.
  • Develop benchmark performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and report on KPIs.
  • Measure metrics: Monitor, analyse, and report on SEO performance metrics, including traffic, rankings, conversions, and revenue.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate SEO performance, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Provide marketing reporting support for monthly presentations and other reporting requests assigned.
  • Collaborate with content creators and developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website design and content creation processes.
  • Work with external copywriters and link builders to develop engaging content in different formats, including infographics, quizzes, on-page content, and blog content.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics and Search Console, to identify areas of improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and industry developments, and apply that knowledge to drive continuous optimization efforts.
  • Own local SEO - Google My Business, multi-location SEO and citations.
Requirements

Work Environment

This role may require availability outside of traditional office hours to meet project deadlines or to collaborate with team members in different time zones. This position is hybrid remote and requires living within the GTA / HA area.
