Overview

As Sr. SEO Specialist, you will help improve our content strategy and implement on-site optimizations to meet our ambitious goals. This role will require a strong combination of technical, analytical & collaborative skills, as well as an ability to clearly articulate the value of SEO and influence business decisions, even in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute content, technical & linking SEO strategies across SurveyMonkey and our global sites to drive organic growth
  • Own the technical health of our sites, work on CWV optimization and proactively monitor and improve our crawling and indexing
  • Continually identify new SEO growth opportunities via content analysis, technical audits, data/traffic analysis and competitive research
  • Measure SEO performance of key metrics and deliver regular reports to stakeholders
  • Serve as a trusted SEO advocate, by educating internal teams and developing scalable practices to optimize web properties for search engines
  • Work with SEO content strategists and other stakeholders to capitalize on search opportunities and plan our editorial calendar to grow our organic business
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of SEO experience, B2B SaaS experience a plus
  • Proven experience handling large sites with significant organic search traffic
  • Experience in CWV optimization, crawling and indexing management for large sites, and international SEO
  • Experience working with writers to develop SEO content and a solid understanding of SEO tactics and best practices as it applies to content creation and optimization
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with stakeholders with competing agendas to promote and defend SEO internally
  • Deep understanding and experience with Google Search Console and Amplitude
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Tableau & Splunk. Experience with Enterprise SEO tools is a bonus
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Marketing, Psychology, or a related field
