Senior Real Estate Lawyer
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Real Estate Lawyer with a strong background in residential property law to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of proven experience in advising clients, managing complex transactions, and overseeing all legal aspects of residential real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, financing, title matters, and closings.
Provide expert legal advice and representation in all aspects of residential real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, lease agreements, co-ops, condominiums, and financing.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, purchase agreements, deeds, mortgages, and closing documents.
Conduct and review title searches, resolve title issues, and liaise with title companies and lenders.
Advise clients on zoning laws, property taxes, and land use regulations impacting residential property.
Manage and supervise closing processes to ensure timely and accurate completion of transactions.
Collaborate with brokers, agents, lenders, and opposing counsel to protect client interests and ensure seamless transactions.
Provide mentorship to junior associates and paralegals within the real estate practice.
Stay current with changes in residential property law, regulations, and market trends.
Licensed and in good standing with the state bar (specify jurisdiction if required).
Minimum of 15 years of experience in residential real estate law.
Extensive knowledge of relevant real estate statutes, contract law, and closing procedures.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a client-focused approach.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-value transactions simultaneously.
Experience working in a fast-paced private practice or in-house real estate legal department.
