About this role

We’d like to hear from you if you are confident in being a QE Engineer, in a collaborative, agile environment. We expect you to be comfortable working with software engineers, and have experience with best practices for quality automation. We work in a fast-paced, continuous delivery environment that serves hundreds of deployments to our global platform daily. We are looking for those excited by the challenge of implementing leading-edge automated quality controls in our rapidly evolving platform.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Ensure software quality standards are met through proper automated testing.
• Influence engineering and product teams on quality assurance best practices.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers on test approaches and bug documentation.
• Lead teams and work with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong teamwork.
• Conduct test planning and management using tools like Zephyr Scale.
• Write automated tests for both front-end and back-end applications.
• Perform exploratory testing, challenge scope requirements, and manage tools like Jira and GitHub.

What will you bring to the table?

• Writing automated test scripts in java, javascript or typescript
• Experience with any automation framework like Cypress, Selenium, Appium
• Message queues and event-driven services
• Common test automation design patterns
• API testing with postman or framework as rest assured
• Test-Driven and Behaviour-Driven
• Development practices and tools/frameworks
• Exposure to Cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, etc)
• Load test scripts with artillery or similar tools

Nice to have

• Continuous Integration / Deployment knowledge
• Proven experience using and configuring testing frameworks that ensure and enhance quality within a CD environment
• Experience using AI
