Responsibilities
- Engage daily with senior-level clients to help them solve complex challenges and improve business outcomes
- Conduct market research and produce written insights for clients on software and cloud pricing and contracting
- Deliver high-quality advice through various media channels and respond to client queries
- Establish thought leadership in research positions and mentor team members
- Support the sales organization in retaining and growing the business
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in SaaS/Cloud contract negotiations, technology procurement, or vendor management
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Licensing and knowledge of the competitive landscape with resellers
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to apply models and defend conclusions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in publishing preferred
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 25%) both regionally and globally
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent hands-on experience negotiating with Microsoft (within the last 12 months)
- Experience with other major software vendors and cloud providers, such as Google or Salesforce
- Background in compliance risk assessment and management in software audits, especially with Microsoft
- Master's degree preferred
